“That night the king could not sleep; so he ordered the book of the chronicles, the record of his reign, to be brought in and read to him. 2 It was found recorded there that Mordecai had exposed Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's officers who guarded the doorway, who had conspired to assassinate King Xerxes. "What honor and recognition has Mordecai received for this?" the king asked.” Nothing has been done for him," ….his attendants answered and told Zeresh his wife and all his friends everything that had happened to him. His advisers and his wife Zeresh said to him, "Since Mordecai, before whom your downfall has started, is of Jewish origin, you cannot stand against him—you will surely come to ruin!" Esther 6:1-3, 13
Everyone does good and glorious things that sometimes no one recognizes. So many times you are forgotten when you do good things. Many times problems and challenges starts to follow you like shadows. You come to ask yourself why all this is happening. Your job may be terminated, your marriage may suffer divorce because of a “small house”-girlfriend, your business may crumble your faith may melt away, your hope gets shuddered, judgments may be given against you. When all this happens to you, don’t worry, get busy doing good things, praise God, don’t complain, don’t murder yourself, don’t regret, and don’t compare with what is happening with others. One day a book of your life shall be opened and it shall be found recorded that you encountered all that and you continued to live well, but nothing was done good for you. God is not blind.
When all is not working well, don’t worry, just do good, be happy,
When problems are mounting on your life, continue doing well.
When your marriage is suffering divorce, continue to do well.
When your business is dying down, continue to do well.
When nothing, I mean nothing is happening for you, continue to do good before God.
The story above is about a Jewish man Mordecai. He was working for the king and one day he discovered a coup that was organized against the King. He reported the matter and the culprits were punished by death. However he was not rewarded for such a great accomplishment instead problems started to mount against him. There was Harman who was their captain who did not like him, he convinced the king that the Jews were not good and there should be killed. This he did with the mind to get rid of Mordecai. The king agreed and made a law that all Jews should die within a prescribed time. How unfaithful life is you could say, if it was you.
Mordecai did not say that he went to Esther who was miraculously married to the king. She was a Jew. When she heard about it she asked all the Jews to go on three days fasting day and night without food. She even took courage to face the king about the matter. That night the King did not sleep, so he ordered for the book of the chronicles to be read to him. It was then found recorded that Mordecai did such and such and nothing was done about it.
The king asked Harman what should be done to such a person not mentioning the name and Harman speak favor, promotion, honor and a feast for such a person. It was later told to him that it was to be done to Mordecai. Now when the news spread, Zeresh told that since evil was done to Mordecai of the Jewish origin downfall had began for Harman and all who rise against them shall surely come to destruction. Finally Harman and his family were killed instead of all the Jews. Mordecai was promoted.
Now my friend if you are facing something like this in your life, I have news for you. There are many Harman’s in our life, People and situation that desire our downfall. Let me tell you just continue doing well. Don’t stop praising and worshiping God. One day the king (God) shall request the book of the chronicles about your life. It shall be found that you went through such and such and continued to do well but nothing good was done for you. It shall be found recorded that something or someone took your husband/wife, money, business, health, etc but you ignored that and praised God.
If you are in such a situation right now you can take the Esther fasting and something is going to happen I tell you. God is a mighty God. The word of God says that God can not be mocked and what a man sowed that shall he reap. If you have been receiving bad things all the time and kept doing well you shall reap your freedom one day. No matter what happens, no matter death sentence has been given against you, no matter the peace order have been issued by the one who took your husband, no matter thieves took away all your things .Praise God. Just be a child of God, let Jesus be in your life. If you are of the origin of Jesus Christ by faith I tell you all your worries, problems will come to ruin.
You have been troubled for many years, you have been having sleepless nights for too along, you have been crying and crying about your situation. The Harman’s of life have come seriously against you. Don’t worry they will fall into the pit they have dug for you, they will be caught by the traps they have set for you, they will die by the charms, juju, magic powers, satanic powers witchcraft powers they have acquired against you. Just take the Esther fasting, just continue doing well, just be holy angry about it and let God take his book about your life. Tell God about it, don’t sit and complain. There is a book that records all we do daily (psalm 139, Malachi 3; 16).Don’t worry my brother, sister. God is not blind, He is not deaf, He is not disabled, and He is not a man that is limited in power. Its just one day, one day the Harman in your life shall prophesy your victory, initiates your victory, shall declare your freedom but he will die in your stead. Praise is to God.
No matter what you are in, no matter what is happening, no matter what has been designed against you. If you are of the origin of Jesus Christ all that is against you will come to ruin. One day it shall be found recorded that you have been faithful, holy, committed, and prayerful but nothing to reward that came your way. God is not blind, He is not inconsiderate you shall have your reward.
