“He was assigned a grave with the wicked and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.” Isaiah 53:9
Ten years ago I watched a movie which drove me into tears. A young black servant boy was electrocuted for the murder of young white girls. A serial killer would secretly come, pull the young girls into the bush and brutally murder them. The young black boy would be busy tending his master’s flock in the same bush. He became the suspect; he was convicted of murder and died a painful death. I could not stand the motion, I cried, I cried and cried with tears flowing.
You might have undergone the same experience or you are right now. Someone accuses you of having said or done something you did not do. Some authorities heard it and believed you did it. You are disgraced, punished for something you did not do. You are named after an incident you were not involved in. You are blackmailed. You are an outcast. People mock you. They take turns to laugh at you. You are even called to answer to words you did not utter. Relatives, husband/wife, friends and even your church mates have now forsaken you. You now think life is not worthy living. You tried to change places, but something worse caught you up. They trace your past, what you runaway from has been discovered. Hell has broken loose on you once again. It’s not fair! It’s not fair! You yelled. You are tired now. You are about to take your God given life. You have decided to kill whoever will say anything bad about you. You are thinking of resorting to charms, evil forces, black magic and all false gods for refuge…………………..!
Hold on, relax, sit down and listen my friend! There is nothing wrong with you!
Jesus was not only mocked, but He was assigned a grave with the wicked, yet He loved them, who did it,Jesus was not only punished, but He died a disgracing death of the cross, yet He forgives,
Jesus was not only forsaken, He was crushed for the words He didn’t say, yet He ignored all that,
Jesus was not only gossiped about, He was conspired and betrayed by him He ate with, yet not moved to anger,Jesus was not only finger pointed at; He was pierced with a sharp arrow, yet He rejoiced in that,Jesus was not only beaten and publicly undressed, He was nailed and crowned with thorns, yet He forsakes not God.
Be glad in what you are going through. The bible tells us to count it all joy when we face such trials and tribulation. God will not allow any temptation that we cannot bear, but in all trials He will make a way out. Problems may hit you right, left and center but know that all the people in the world are going through the same experience, even I. Just stand firm in faith. Look at Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. He promised never to leave us alone till the end of the world.
Even though your marriage is mocked at, He never leaves you,
Even though sent to jail for a crime you did not commit, He never leaves you,
Even though fired at your work for things you’re not responsible for, He never leaves you alone,
Even though you are sick right now, He never leaves you sick again; by His stripes you are healed.
Even though in needy of anything right now, He will never leave your desire not granted, He is moved by our needs. Even though you pass through fire or water He promises to sustain you with His mighty right hand.
Remember Job, who lost all his Children, flocks, money, honor and even friends. His body was soared; dogs and flies would lick the wounds on him. He did not deserve that. He never thought of moving to wizards, magic, charms or witch doctors. Never did he forsake God. At the end God rewarded him two fold. Ladies two fold-beautiful were born to him. His wealth was restored to him two fold. He lived happily once again.
Are you being assigned a grave with the wicked, be strong, be courageous! Put your trust in God. Thank him for what you are going through. A multi fold restoration is coming. A multi fold favor is on its way. A multi fold blessing is coming. A multi fold miracle is ready for you. Just hold on. Cling to your faith.
God bless You ! |
