In the quietness of the night
As I walk by faith and not by sight

I can feel His presence near me
Although the way I cannot see

I do not know what lies ahead
As only by His Word I'm led

I have purposed in my heart
From this path I‚ll not depart

But will walk with Him as He leads
Trusting Him to meet the needs

Weapons of carnality I cannot use
He said if I do I will certainly lose

It is not about the journey but about Him
Remember this whenever light grows dim

Thankful for lessons learned eloquently
Becoming the person I was meant to be

Darkness is not meant to be a test
Busy disciples need to learn to rest
