| The Invisible Dance Beautiful
people danced thru the day
too busy to hear what I had to say
It wasn't important anyway
So there was no reason for me to stay
Quietly I headed for the door
when He came walking across the floor
A glistening of tears in His eyes I could see
"Before you leave would you dance with Me?"
"But Lord, I can't dance" was all I could say
As others performed flawlessly as they swayed
"My dear precious one I have watched you dance
with others that no one would give a chance
You have poured out your life to serve just a few
no matter the task I could depend on you
These beautiful people do not dance with Me
But for themselves and for others to see
You dance to the beat of the hammer and nails
ignoring the latest craze and gimmick that sells"
Tears flowed as He took me by the hand
together we made dance steps in the sand |
