“Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken
blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye
have heard his blasphemy. What think ye? They answered and said,
He is guilty of death. Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted
him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands, Saying,
Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?”
Matthew 26: 65-68
King James Version
Many people have questioned God, including me, asking Him why did
You allow my child to die? Why did I have to give up my child for
adoption?
He says to us, “My children, I Love you very much. You are
very precious to Me. Do you care that My Son, Jesus, was tortured,
spit upon, and cursed? If you do, why do you break My Heart by the
way you treat people?”
Yes, it is almost impossible to bear the loss of a child. God understands
because He lost His child. He can’t do anything else to prove
His Love for us. He gave His Son to die a death that can never be
adequately described.
Yes, we have read many things pertaining to how they suffered when
they hung on crosses, but nothing can tell how much agony Jesus
suffered in His Heart when everyone deserted Him. I believe with
all my heart that Jesus died of a broken Heart. |
