Imagine for a moment that God might manifest His
presence in your life in a powerful, unusual, - even supernatural
- way. Suppose He were to stand at your side, wanting to infuse
your spirit with fullness beyond your most incredible expectations.
He would not be a God who cares one bit about business as usual.
Instead, He would invite you join Him in the most exciting, provocative,
and creative adventure of your life.
Would you accept His generous offer? If so, you would discover that
He suddenly would no longer be the former familiar God in a box.
In the midst of the mundane and mediocre, consider the excitement
of being moved by God through being touched by something out of
the ordinary. Imagine how shattered and dull the routine of an average
day would be in the presence of your creative, loving, and heavenly
Father.
The good news is that this is not a dream. Times come when all Christians
need fresh encounters with our loving God. Whether we become sidetracked
by competing interests, or are overwhelmed by the struggles of life,
we ultimately all drift. God’s gateway to supernatural power
can become ours when we come to our heavenly Father with contrite
hearts and obedient spirits in fasting and prayer.
